How long should I stay for ACL Knee Surgery?
You should stay 10 days to complete a whole process. On your arrival day, you should stay in your hotel to relax from a long flight and have a surgery on the following day. Normally, ACL Knee repair will require 2-3 nights stay in the hospital per one area. Post operative check up will be done 7 days after the surgery.

How is surgery performed?
ACL may require a graft replaces the torn ligament. Graft may be taken from patient's kneecap or other areas, or a cadaver graft can be used. The procedure is performed with an arthroscope with only small incisions. The graft is implanted into holes drilled in the tibia and femur, then secured to bone with screws or staples.
No graft is required for the repair. The surgeon sutures the existing tendon and ensures it is attached properly. The incision is closed with sutures, staples, or metal pins, and a bandage is applied.

What is the post-surgical care?
After surgery, you must temporarily use crutches or a brace to aid in mobility. Painkillers will relieve pain and discomfort. To reduce swelling, elevate leg and apply ice pack. Bathing or showering can be resumed 3 days after surgery and avoid exercise other than physical therapy until approved by your doctor. Physical rehabilitation after ACL surgery may take several months to a year. The length of time until you can return to normal activities or sports is different for every person; it may range from 6 to 12 weeks.
