Surgery can be done only when a tumor appears to be confined to one area, and also only when physician is sure that the operation will not going to spread cancer to other parts of the body. It often used along with chemotherapy or radiation therapy.

How long should I stay for Cancer Treatment?
It is advisable to stay approximately at least a month to complete a whole process. On an arrival day, a patient should stay in a hotel to relax from a long flight and have a surgery on the following day. Hospital stay and post operative check up depend on cases and patient's condition.

How is surgery performed?
You have to undergo several tests to ensure that you're physically capable to undergo and plan the operation. No food and drink are allowed since the night before the surgery. You may also be asked to use a laxative or an enema to make sure your intestines are empty. For the operation procedure, it depends on cases.

What is the post-sugical care?
You will receive painkiller. Your throat may be sore for a while from the ET tube. You will have a catheter to drain urine, which will be removed soon after surgery. You may also have tubes to drain the fluid collecting at the surgery site for a few days. You will not allowed to eat until your digestive system recover from anesthesia. Instead, you will be given a clear liquid diet. You are allowed to walk as soon as possible to prevent blood clots in your legs. Also, doing deep breathing exercises will help fully inflate the lungs and reduces the risk of pneumonia.
