How long should I stay for Vasectomy?
You should stay approximately
10 days to complete a whole process. On your arrival day, you should stay in your hotel to relax from a long flight and have a surgery on the following day. Normally, hospital stay is not required for Vasectomy. Post operative check up will be done 5-7 days after the surgery.

How is surgery performed?
To prevent infection, surgical site will be washed and shaved, and sterile is placed over you.. After a local anesthetic is administered, a small puncture is made in the scrotum. Surgeon will cut the vas, which cause a pulling sensation. The two ends of the vas are heat sealed, tied or clipped, before being returned to the scrotum. The opposite vas deferens is done in the same way. Then, the punctures will be close by stitches and without stitches. The process requires about 20 minutes.

What is the post-surgical care?
Elevate your legs, stay off your feet, and use ice packs liberally to soothe the scrotal area during the first few days to help minimize any swelling and discomfort. Return to work is typical in a week or less. Sexual activities can usually be resumed after one to two weeks, but sterility is not immediate.

Pain or discomfort following the procedure usually is mild and controlled with medication.
